These terms cover this website and, where noted, the MaMills game. By using either, you agree to them.

The website

This site is informational: a promo video, a link to the Steam store page, and the pages you are reading. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial use. Text, art, video, and the Department of Ducks crest are owned by us unless credited otherwise, and may not be reused without permission. Press and content creators are welcome to use our screenshots, trailer, and logos for coverage of the game, including monetised coverage; write to us and we will send the art and a factsheet.

The game

MaMills is sold and distributed through storefronts we do not operate - Steam and itch.io. Your purchase, your license to play, and any refund are governed by that storefront's terms: for Steam, Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement and Steam refund policy. We do not process payments or refunds ourselves. Third-party software bundled with the game carries its own license; see the Licenses page and the game's own Settings → About → Licenses screen.

Fair use of the game

Please do not redistribute or resell the game, attempt to circumvent its copy protection, or use its LAN and Steam Remote Play Together features to harass or disrupt other players. Streaming, video, and written coverage of MaMills are expressly welcome, including monetised ones.

Age

MaMills is suitable for all ages. If you are under 16, please have a parent or guardian agree to these terms on your behalf before contacting us.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Hungarian and EU law, including your rights to a product that conforms to what was described. The two sections below apply only as far as the law allows.

No warranty

Beyond those statutory rights, the site and the game are provided as-is. We work in good faith to keep both accurate and working, but make no guarantee against errors, downtime, or bugs.

Limitation of liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the game, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury, gross negligence, or fraud.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law, and disputes fall to the Hungarian courts. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your own country's mandatory rules or of your right to bring a claim in your local courts.

If part of this does not hold

If any provision here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site or game changes. The date above reflects the latest revision.
